Art in the Park 2025 - A wonderful day for all!

Writer: Sonja WalkerSonja Walker

Despite a date change due to impending poor weather, this year’s Art in the Park at Queens Gardens, turned out to be a fantastic success. The sun shone brightly on Sunday January 12th and we were able to welcome a large crowd eager to explore the beautiful gardens and the stunning artwork on display.

The event boasted an impressive total of $26,124.00 in artwork sales—an incredible achievement! A heartfelt thank you to all the artists and attendees who contributed to this success.

We were thrilled to have photographer Vaughan Scott back to capture the day. His stunning images are a generous gift to us all, allowing us to relive the event.

I'd also like thank Helena Fox, our First Aider, who stepped in when needed. Her presence was a reminder of how crucial these roles can be during events.

Most importantly, we extend our deepest gratitude to Jill Richards and her dedicated team. Without her leadership and tireless effort, Art in the Park would not have been possible.

Thank you to everyone - exhibitors, administrators, helpers, friends - for making this day so memorable!
